Unreal C++ Game Developer

In this role, you will be expected to collaborate closely with developers as part of a small and passionate team. You will experiment with gameplay mechanics, enhance engagement and on-boarding features for new players, and of course bring a new perspective to an established (post-release) title.

Players take the helm of the cutting-edge AC40 yacht in a world-class simulation, battle-tested in a competitive eSports arena in 2024 during the inaugural America’s cup eSeries. As the America's Cup keeps evolving, we're pushing AC Sailing forward too, building fresh gameplay mechanics that hook a new audience on the thrill of the America’s Cup and introduce sailing to a whole new generation of gamers.

We are looking for someone with experience in:

  • Designing features that enhance gameplay and user experience

  • Integrating and testing new features within an established codebase

  • Unreal Engine blueprint and C++ scripting

  • Editing and configuring 3D assets to ensure they are game ready

  • Profiling performance bottlenecks across Memory, GPU, and the CPU

  • Reviewing code and project management

For an extra competitive edge:

  • Experience working on a published multiplayer game

  • An eye for detail and flagging concerns

  • Modeling and animation experience in blender or related tools

  • Mobile or console development/publishing experience
