[URGENT] Network Operations Engineer (Data Centre, TCP/IP)
Responsibilities
Monitor and operate data centre network infrastructure on a 24/7 rotating shift.
Monitor network alerts and respond promptly to network incidents and faults.
Troubleshoot network issues and escalate complex cases to senior engineers when required.
Coordinate network break-fix activities, including switch replacement, link restoration and connectivity issues.
Work with data centre technicians on basic physical network-related activities.
Perform routine network maintenance and operational checks.
Maintain accurate records and prepare daily network monitoring and operations reports.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure network issues are resolved efficiently.
Ad hoc duties/ projects as assigned.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
With 1–3 years of experience in network monitoring, network operations or data centre environments.
Good understanding of TCP/IP and routing protocols, such as OSPF and BGP.
Linux knowledge or experience is an advantage.
CCNA, JNCIA or equivalent certification is preferred.
Willing to work on a 24/7 rotating shift schedule, or with an on-call/ standby arrangement.
