Utility Person / Warehouse Operator
We are looking for a talented Utility Person / Warehouse Operator to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Under some supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse.
- Check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
- Accurately sort, label, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
- Pick, pack, and dispatch incoming and outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests orders.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
- Maintain clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and perform planned operator care and maintenance tasks as needed.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
- Requires certification to operate powered industrial vehicles (reach trucks, order pickers, pallet rider, etc..) and/or other heavy machinery.
- Previous warehouse experience is required, stock picker experience preferred.
- Must be able to physically lift 50 pounds occasionally, wear required personal protective equipment
- Please note, this is a fast-paced warehouse environment, there will be a lot of standing and lifting.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
