The Utility Technician is responsible for supporting facility operations through routine maintenance, cleaning, and operation of utility systems and equipment. This role assists with maintaining a safe, efficient, and functional environment by performing a variety of tasks across multiple building systems and services.

Position Starts: 9/1/2026

Pay: $19.00/hour.

  • Assist in the operation, maintenance, and repair of utility systems such as water, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical equipment
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on facility systems and equipment
  • Support troubleshooting of basic issues related to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of mechanical rooms, utility spaces, and work areas
  • Monitor building systems and report any irregularities or needed repairs
  • Assist skilled trades (plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians) with projects and repairs
  • Perform minor repairs such as replacing filters, bulbs, belts, and basic components
  • Handle general facility upkeep tasks including waste removal, material handling, and equipment setup
  • Follow all safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and company policies
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory of supplies
  • Document completed tasks and update work orders as required
  • Respond to emergency situations or service calls as needed
  • Must have Valid Driver's License
  • 1–3 years of maintenance, facilities, or utility-related experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical)
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn multiple trades
  • Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and time management skills
