Valve Technician
Summary
Valve Technician inspects, disassembles, machines, tests, and reassembles industrial valves in a shop and customer site environment with exposure to loud noise, chemicals, and outdoor conditions.
Tri-Stave Valve is looking for an experienced Valve Technician to help support both customer and shop operations.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Disassemble Relief Valves
- Sandblast
- Inspection
- Machining
- Re-Assembly
- Testing
- Tagging and Packaging
Work Environment:
- regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts;
- work in high, precarious places;
- outdoor weather conditions; and outdoor weather conditions.
- exposed to wet or humid conditions (nonweather);fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; and vibration.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
