What will you do?
A day in the life of a Senior Account Executive at Vans looks a little like this.
In this role, the Senior Account Executive is accountable for growing revenue and profitability within the Military/Government sales channel while managing select strategic partners across the marketplace. This role partners cross-functionally with key business teams to build strong relationships, align on strategy, and drive results.
The Senior Account Executive plays an integral role as the liaison between the needs of the field and the strategic direction of the sales leadership team, ensuring priorities are clearly communicated and effectively executed.

Deliver on revenue targets and strengthen strategic partnerships across military and select wholesale accounts.
Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to both internal stakeholders and external partners, influencing decisions and aligning teams around a shared commercial vision.
Develop and execute channel-specific growth strategies and long-range business plans that support sustainable revenue, market share, and brand health objectives.
Lead seasonal Go-To-Market (GTM) execution across footwear and apparel, aligning brand priorities with account opportunities to maximize impact and performance
Leverage consumer, marketplace, and account insights to identify white-space opportunities, validate strategic decisions, and unlock new growth avenues.
Partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Marketing, Planning, Operations, and Customer Service teams to deliver best-in-class consumer connectivity and flawless execution of brand initiatives.
Drive account forecasting, Open-to-Buy (OTB) planning, financial management, and sell-in/sell-through analysis to achieve revenue, profitability, and inventory objectives.
Monitor and manage operational execution, including order management, shipping performance, claims, allowances, markdowns, returns, and marketing investments.
Bring innovative and consumer-centric thinking to account partnerships, identifying new opportunities to elevate brand presence, drive engagement, and fuel long-term growth.
What do you need to succeed?

Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 7+ years of experience and professional achievements.
The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
Strategic Account Management – Ability to develop long-term growth strategies, build joint business plans, and cultivate high-impact partnerships that deliver sustainable business results.
Business & Financial Acumen – Strong understanding of wholesale forecasting, Open-to-Buy (OTB) management, financial planning, sell-in/sell-through metrics, and profitability drivers.
Consumer & Market Insight Orientation – Ability to identify emerging consumer trends, uncover white-space opportunities, and translate marketplace insights into actionable growth strategies.
Data-Driven Decision Making – Proven ability to leverage analytics, performance metrics, and business insights to validate decisions, optimize performance, and influence outcomes.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Influence – Skilled at aligning Sales, Merchandising, Marketing, Planning, and Operations teams around a shared commercial vision and driving execution through collaboration.
Relationship Building & Negotiation – Exceptional ability to establish credibility, influence stakeholders, and deepen strategic partnerships both internally and externally.
Location requirement: While this position is fully remote, the ideal candidate will reside within the Southeast US to better service their client base.
There are also a few skills that are not required but preferred.
Military/Government sales and account management experience is preferred.

Hiring Range:
$92,000.00 USD - $115,000.00 USD annuallyIncentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
