Vb.Net Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using VB.NET, ASP.NET, and Angular.
• Develop server-side business logic, application services, and backend functionality using VB.NET.
• Build responsive and interactive user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web services to enable communication between frontend and backend applications.
• Implement CRUD operations and business workflows using VB.NET and database technologies.
• Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
• Integrate Angular components with backend APIs to retrieve, process, and display data.
• Develop reusable Angular components, services, directives, and modules for maintainable frontend applications.
• Implement form validation, routing, data binding, and error handling in Angular applications.
• Work with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server to design tables, manage data, and maintain data integrity.
• Debug application issues, troubleshoot defects, and perform root-cause analysis across frontend and backend layers.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of VB.NET programming, including classes, objects, inheritance, interfaces, exception handling, and collections.
• Experience with ASP.NET and the .NET Framework or .NET technologies relevant to the application.
• Hands-on experience with Angular for developing dynamic, responsive, and component-based web applications.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Knowledge of Angular components, services, dependency injection, routing, forms, and data binding.
• Experience integrating Angular applications with REST APIs using HTTP services.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including SQL queries, joins, subqueries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
• Understanding of RESTful API development, JSON, HTTP methods, status codes, and API error handling.
