We are a full-service primary care practice providing care for dogs, cats, and exotic pets. As a Fear Free Certified® and Cat Friendly Certified® practice, we place a strong emphasis on creating a calm, positive experience for both our patients and their people.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who already has veterinary medicine experience and is comfortable with the fundamentals of a Veterinary Assistant role.

Ideally, you have experience with:

  • Blood draws
  • Patient triage
  • Anesthesia and/or sedation
  • Surgical and dental support
  • Fear Free or low-stress handling
  • Client communication
  • Basic veterinary terminology and patient care

Experience with anesthesia and sedation is especially valuable because we work with many fearful, anxious, and stressed patients who benefit from thoughtful, low-stress handling and sedation when appropriate.

You don't have to already be Fear Free Certified—we'll support you in becoming certified. What matters most is that you're open to Fear Free principles and committed to learning.

A Team That Supports You

We believe a great veterinary hospital starts with a great work environment.

Our team has a mix of experience levels, and newer veterinary professionals have described our hospital as a safe space for learning and asking questions. Communication is important to us, and we make time for regular check-ins with leadership as well as monthly team meetings—with lunch provided!

Our doctors are open to new ideas and aren't afraid to evolve with modern veterinary medicine. Leadership is receptive to suggestions and encourages team members to have a voice in how we operate and improve the practice.

If you're an experienced Veterinary Assistant who wants to work somewhere that values Fear Free care, teamwork, communication, professional growth, and a positive workplace culture, we'd love to hear from you!

Join a team where you can make a difference in the lives of pets—and feel supported while doing it.
