Video Editor (Social Media) (BBS886)
We're looking for a Social Media Video Editor to produce high-volume short-form video content for the social media channels of a well-established clinical skincare brand with a strong presence across Southeast Asia. You will work from images, footage, and content provided by the brand team to create polished, engaging social media videos — primarily for Instagram and TikTok — at a pace of approximately 100 videos per month.
This is a production execution role. The creative direction and raw assets come to you. Your job is to cut, edit, reformat, and enhance them into finished social media content that looks premium and performs on platform. AI tools are welcome and encouraged for editing, effects, and motion work — but not for generating AI human faces or skin. If you are a fast, skilled short-form video editor who can produce at high volume without sacrificing quality, this role is a strong fit.
Why You'll Want to Join
- You will be paid in USD (bi-monthly: every 15th and 30th)
- Paid Time Off in accordance with company policy
- Observance of Holidays per company guidelines
- 100% remote setup so you can work wherever you're most productive
- Work on content for a globally recognized skincare brand with an active and growing Southeast Asian social media presence
- High-volume production role with consistent output expectations and real creative variety across formats and platforms
What You'll Work On
Short-Form Video Production
- Edit and produce short-form social media videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other platforms from brand-provided images, footage, and content briefs
- Cut, reformat, and enhance raw assets into finished, platform-ready video content
- Apply motion graphics, text overlays, transitions, music, and sound design to produce polished, engaging outputs
- Produce approximately 100 finished videos per month consistently and on schedule
- Maintain the brand's visual standards and content quality across every piece of output
AI-Assisted Editing
- Use AI tools freely for editing, effects, motion work, and production efficiency
- Do not use AI to generate human faces, skin, or realistic human imagery of any kind — all human and skin visuals must come from brand-provided assets
- Stay current on AI editing tools that can improve production speed and output quality
Asset Management and Delivery
- Organize and manage project files and finished assets clearly and accessibly throughout production
- Deliver finished videos in the correct formats and specifications for each platform and placement
- Communicate proactively on timelines and flag any asset gaps or brief issues before they delay delivery
What You Bring
- Proven short-form video editing experience with a portfolio showing finished social media content for Instagram, TikTok, or similar platforms
- Fast and efficient with the ability to produce high volumes of finished content consistently without sacrificing quality
- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar platforms
- Comfortable using AI tools for editing and production enhancement while understanding their appropriate limits
- Strong eye for visual quality, motion, pacing, and what makes short-form content perform on social platforms
- Organized and reliable with consistent on-time delivery across a high volume of concurrent projects
- Available to work during Southeast Asia business hours
Nice to Have
- Mandarin language skills for supporting Chinese-language content production
- Experience creating content for beauty, skincare, wellness, or consumer lifestyle brands
- Familiarity with Southeast Asian social media audiences and platform trends
- Experience with motion graphics or basic animation for social media content
- Background producing content for Instagram Reels or TikTok at scale
How to Apply
Please include:
- Your updated resume
- A portfolio link showing at least 4 to 6 finished short-form social media videos you have edited across different styles or formats
- A short Loom video (1 to 2 minutes) introducing yourself, describing your social media video editing experience and typical monthly output volume, and walking through one piece of work you are proud of and the editing decisions behind it
Only candidates who submit both a portfolio and Loom video will be moved to the next step of the hiring process.
If you are a fast, skilled short-form video editor who can produce premium social content at high volume for a globally recognized skincare brand, this role gives you the consistency, the assets, and the direct impact to do your best work.
