Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test and deploy end-to-end VR training software.

  • Translate workplace scenarios into realistic, interactive VR simulations.

  • Create VR environment including user interface, scenario logic, hazard-identification tasks and consequence-based simulations.

  • Develop pre-training tutorials, as well as post-training evaluations and scoring reports.

  • Integrate audio and visual effects into the VR application.

  • Optimize the application for easy usability, user comfort and compatibility with supported VR devices.

  • Secure the source code and maintain technical documentation and training records.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot software or VR equipment issues during training.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, Interactive Media, Immersive Technology or a related discipline.

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in VR, AR, game or interactive application development.

  • Hands-on experience developing VR applications using Unity, Unreal Engine or an equivalent platform.

  • Proficiency in relevant programming languages such as C#, C++ or equivalent.

  • Experience with VR development frameworks and standards such as OpenXR, Meta XR SDK, SteamVR or equivalent.

  • Ability to independently develop a VR application from initial concept through testing, deployment and maintenance.

  • Experience in developing training simulations or industrial VR applications would be advantageous.
