XR / Game Developer
We are a small and local XR company based in Singapore, specializing in XR such as AR/VR experiences. We aim to push the forefront of the industry using various technologies such as the Web, 3D, and LIDAR to create immersive and memorable experiences.
We’re looking for a talented and creative game developer to work on our web, virtual, and AR developments. You will be responsible for overall game/app functionality, translating concepts, design ideas, and requirements into an engaging player experience.
Our ideal candidate is one with great passion and strong interest in programming, a keen eye for detail, and is strong in analytical skills. Being a team player is a must.
Objectives of this role
- Plan and implement game functionality.
- Collaborate with team members in delivering complex features on time and at high standards.
- Assist in the development process by contributing suggestions for improvements and by driving the quality of code throughout production.
- Transform design specifications into functional games.
- Communicate with the art and design team to ensure goals and schedules are compatible with business and project needs.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and implement game features.
- Create and iterate quickly on prototypes.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reliable, and reusable code.
- Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications and games.
Required skills and qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of working experience
- Diploma / bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Programming experience in Game Engines.
- Competent in C#, C++ object-oriented programming language.
- Experience with 3D game assets (3D Models, animations, materials, shaders).
Nice to Haves
- Experience in Web XR technologies (ThreeJS, WebGL)
- Previous experience in a similar industry or domain
Working Hours
- 9am - 6pm (Mon, Wed)
- 9am - 6pm (WFH Tue, Thu)
- 9am - 5pm (Fri)
