Warehouse Assistant / Warehouse Operations Associate #HDCC

We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, picking, packing and dispatch activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming goods and verify quantities against delivery orders and supporting documents.
• Inspect incoming items for damages or discrepancies and report any issues accordingly.
• Perform labelling, scanning and storage of goods at designated warehouse locations.
• Pick and prepare items according to customer orders and shipment requirements.
• Pack, secure and label goods appropriately for transportation and delivery.
• Assist with staging, loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Ensure shipment labels and documentation are accurate before dispatch.
• Assist with stock counts, inventory checks and warehouse record updates.
• Maintain proper housekeeping to ensure the warehouse remains clean, safe and organised.
• Report stock discrepancies, damaged goods and operational issues to the supervisor.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and standard operating guidelines.
• Operate material-handling equipment safely in accordance with training and authorisation.

Requirements

• Valid forklift licence is required.
• Previous warehouse, logistics or inventory management experience will be an advantage.
• Comfortable performing hands-on duties and manual handling.
• Meticulous, responsible and able to follow instructions.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
