Job summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced warehouse head to manage and oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, compliance with quality standards, and timely distribution of pharmaceutical products.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise daily warehouse activities, including receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of materials and finished products.
  • Ensure compliance with good storage practices (GSP), safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS) to optimize inventory accuracy and workflow efficiency.
  • Manage warehouse staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and scheduling.
  • Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow and timely order fulfillment.
  • Oversee inventory control, conduct regular stock counts, and investigate discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records, prepare reports on warehouse performance, and support internal and external audits.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and quality compliance standards.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) and WMS (warehouse management systems), along with strong knowledge of MS Office.
