Warehouse Loader
Responsibilities
- Inspect empty trailers at the loading dock to insure they are clean and clear before loading and take appropriate action as need.
- Move out going products from staging area to the loading dock with forklift.
- Wrap pallets with cellophane, secure load/pallets and make sure shipping labels are in place as needed
- Transport items to be shipped into the trailer with a forklift, pallet jack or by handing the correct stop sequence, according to a predetermined loading plan.
- Locate the proper slot on the trailer for the order, set it in place and secure the load when complete.
- Inspect empty pallets for damage, stack and move pallets with pallet jack or forklift to the proper storage area.
- Assist Order Selectors and perform other similar duties as requested or assigned by supervisor.
- Document the audit results which will include daily data entry and discuss the audit result with the leadership team.
- Communicate effectively with the team members with peers in various functions.
- Make use of quality checking methods to confirm the quality of goods supplied to the stores.
- Handle store complaints and adjust credits to stores.
- Inventory management software office system

Qualifications
- Previous experience operating powered industrial equipment (i.e., forklift, pallet jacks, stock pickers, ) , and OSHA Forklift Certification strongly preferred).
- Preferably loading/unloading experience
- Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, and kneel.
- Has experience working in grocery warehouse (preferred)
- Bilingual-Spanish/ English (preferred)
- Great communication skills
- Attention to detail.
- Skilled in counting moving goods
- Proven auditing experience and math skill.
- Can work under pressure.
