Warehouse Operations Lead

Essential Functions

• Assign daily warehouse tasks to employees based on operational priorities and workload; communicate expectations and monitor progress toward completion.
• Assist with training employees on warehouse procedures, equipment use, safety practices, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment.
• Receive, organize, and store incoming inventory; maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular inventory audits.
• Process customer orders, verify item and quantity accuracy, and securely prepare outgoing shipments.
• Prepare and process shipping and delivery documents, maintain records, produce operational reports, and complete related administrative tasks.
• Load and unload materials, operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment, and move inventory between designated locations.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse; identify and address safety hazards and support compliance with established safety procedures.
• Coordinate with production, logistics, and other internal teams to support inventory availability, workflow, and timely order fulfillment.
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and colleagues to support effective warehouse operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience as a warehouse lead or in a comparable role.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in the company’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with close attention to inventory, shipping, and receiving accuracy.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and customers.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment and obtain required forklift certification.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Work in an indoor warehouse environment with daily exposure to cleaning chemicals.
• Lift and move containers of cleaning chemicals weighing up to 50 pounds daily.
• Stand for extended periods and frequently walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, push, and pull.
• May be required to operate a forklift for up to 50% of each shift.

Schedule and Dress Requirements

• The typical workweek is 40 hours; overtime may be required based on business needs.
