Warehouse Supervisor

Position Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day warehouse operations, including inventory control, receiving, storage, replenishment, employee supervision, and operational efficiency.
This role works closely with warehouse staff and leadership to ensure products are received, stored, and distributed accurately while maintaining high standards for safety, productivity, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise, coach, and develop Warehouse Associates and Lead Workers.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new employees.
• Schedule and oversee warehouse staff to ensure operational coverage.
• Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
Warehouse Operations
• Receive, inspect, record, and store incoming inventory according to company procedures.
• Ensure inventory is accurately maintained and stored in designated warehouse locations.
• Replenish inventory and stock as needed to support business operations.
• Conduct physical inventories and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and inventory systems.
• Ensure timely reporting of products billed to retailers but not shipped to support accurate credit memo processing.
• Monitor warehouse loading productivity and operational performance.
• Report on building security, vehicle security, and warehouse productivity metrics.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to improve warehouse processes and efficiency.
• Monitor expenditures and recommend corrective actions when needed.
• Resolve routine equipment and operational issues.
Safety & Compliance
• Enforce company operating procedures and safety policies.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
• Support compliance with company policies and operational standards.
Additional Duties
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of distribution experience required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain auto liability insurance in accordance with state requirements.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as business needs require.
Preferred Qualifications
• Associate degree in Business or a related field.
• Strong leadership and supervisory experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience with inventory management systems, warehouse software, and data-entry applications.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
• Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
