As Vice President in the Banking Product Specialist Team, you will partner with Private Bankers, Investors, Advisors and Client Service teams (Integrated Team Members – ITMs) across North Asia to provide sales and product support for Banking Product Services to WMIS clients. You will be responsible for the growth of the WMIS deposit book in North Asia (Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan) and provide customized client solutions.

Job responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert to internal stakeholders regarding banking product services

  • Partner with ITMs to drive increased penetration of banking products and solutions for existing and new clients

  • Collaborate with ITMs to proactively provide holistic cash management solutions with a consultative and client-driven framework

  • Be comfortable in a client-facing role with strong client presentation and influencing skills.

  • Lead account reviews for existing clients with banking product services, and recommend improvements to the client and advisors experience (e.g., streamline processes, automation, online banking adoption)

  • Provide support for general inquiries (e.g., overview of deposit and cash management product features, pricing, negotiation)

  • Present proposals, pricing analyses and cost/benefit analysis based on client needs

  • Manage/approve rate and pricing exceptions within delegated authorities

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of cash management sales and relationship management experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of Treasury Service Products or Transaction Banking Services

  • Team-oriented with ability to develop strong working relationships with clients and colleagues

  • Team player with positive attitude towards new projects, ability to deal with obstacles in daily tasks, detail-oriented, and willing to put in additional efforts

  • Ownership of issues to resolution and knowing when to seek help/escalate

  • Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals (i.e. deposit balance growth, pricing discipline, market penetration); proven top contributor

  • Strong verbal, written communication skills, analytical and time management skills

  • Languages: English (fluent) and Mandarin (fluent) mandatory
  • Undergraduate degree

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Language: Cantonese preferred/plus
