Web Designer & Developer (YC-backed)
We're looking for a Web Designer / Developer who can design and build websites end-to-end — from interpreting an ambiguous client brief to defining the design direction, building it, and shipping it.
This is not a Figma-to-code role. There won't be a separate designer handing you finished designs. You'll own both how the website looks and how it works, with a strong focus on conversion and real marketing outcomes.
You'll work across campaign landing pages, new company websites, and website revamps for our clients.
What you'll own
Design and build websites end-to-end — turn client requirements into structure, visual direction, interactions, and a production-ready website
Create high-converting landing pages — understand the ad → landing page journey and design around conversion, not just aesthetics
Build and revamp company websites — translate brand and business requirements into polished, responsive experiences
Make design decisions independently — work through ambiguous briefs, propose solutions, and explain your rationale to clients
Own frontend implementation — responsive layouts, interactions, animations, performance, and cross-device quality
Set up marketing infrastructure — pixels, analytics, conversion tracking, forms, and integrations needed to measure performance
Document and communicate clearly — align clients on requirements, site structure, design direction, and implementation
What we're looking for
Strong frontend development skills with experience shipping production websites
Strong web design fundamentals — layout, typography, hierarchy, responsive design, interaction, and visual systems. You've designed websites, not just implemented them
Conversion and marketing understanding — you understand how design, messaging, UX, and performance influence conversion
Enough backend knowledge to ship independently — comfortable with analytics, pixels, tracking, APIs, forms, CMSs, domains, and common web integrations
Strong problem-solving and client thinking — you can turn unclear requirements into a solution that actually works
Fluent with AI-native workflows — you actively use AI coding tools, design tools, and agents to accelerate research, design, implementation, and iteration
High ownership — you don't wait for perfect requirements or finished Figma files. You figure things out, communicate clearly, and ship
