WebMethods IS System Administrator
Summary
System administrator role managing, maintaining, and optimizing a client's Software AG webMethods Integration Server environment — covering configuration across dev/test/staging/prod, API Gateway/Portal, BPM, JDBC adapters, business continuity testing, and troubleshooting. Hybrid on-site hours run 2:00–11:00 PM IST.
We are seeking a skilled WebMethods IS System Administrator for a open position with a client of ours.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our WebMethods Integration Server environment. This role requires a solid understanding of integration processes, system administration, and troubleshooting.
Program Highlights:
- Integration Expertise: Mastery in designing and implementing complex integrations using WebMethods Integration Server, connecting disparate systems seamlessly.
- API Management: Proficiency in creating, managing, and securing APIs using WebMethods API Gateway and API Portal.
- Business Process Automation: Expertise in modeling, automating, and optimizing business processes with WebMethods BPM (Business Process Management).
- Cloud and Hybrid Solutions: Strong skills in deploying and managing cloud-based and hybrid integrations through WebMethods.io.
- Data Integration: Advanced knowledge in integrating diverse data sources
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of configuration, administration, maintenance, management and support of all Software AG webMethods components, including, Integration Server (IS), Adapter(s), My webMethods Server (MWS)multiple environments (Development, Test, Staging, and Production) Work across teams to ensure the highest level platform performance, availability and disaster recovery.
- Lead and perform the annual Business Continuity test for Software AG webMethods components and webMethods based solutions.
- Prepares users by conducting training; providing information; resolving problems.
- Provides information by answering questions and requests.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Experience with various middle-ware concepts, such as messaging, application integration and service integration.
- Experience with applications servers, DB servers, Global and Local Traffic Managers, Networks.
- Experience with integration servers, specifically, experience with Software AG webMethods Integration Server product.
- Experience with adapters, specifically, experience with Software AG webMethods JDBC adapters.
- Experience in middle-ware software configuration, tuning and administration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a WebMethods IS System Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of WebMethods Integration Server, Broker, and other related components.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a complex environment.
- Familiarity with scripting languages and automation tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Office time: 2:00 PM IST to 11:00 PM IST (hybrid based, based on manager)
