Job Description
Home Helpers Home Care of Gwinnett is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Caregiver to provide quality care and support to a client in Duluth, Georgia.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping others, reliable, and committed to providing respectful, personalized care. The ideal candidate will have previous caregiving experience and be comfortable assisting clients with daily activities while promoting their safety, comfort, and independence.
A minimum of 3 years of caregiving experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide bed baths and personal hygiene care as needed.
- Provide incontinence care, including changing briefs and keeping the client clean, dry, and comfortable.
- Assist with repositioning and transfers in a safe and gentle manner, following the care plan and company policies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment, including tidying areas used during the shift.
- Observe and report changes in the client's condition, skin, comfort, mobility, or daily routine.
- Follow the established care plan, safety procedures, and the family's instructions.
- Communicate any questions or concerns about the client's care needs to the office.
- Home environment: No pets in the home.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of caregiving experience required.
- Previous home care or senior care experience preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow care instructions and maintain professional boundaries.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
- Must meet applicable background screening and hiring requirements.
Work Schedule
- Saturday: 10:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Sunday: 10:00 AM–5:00 PM
Total: 14 hours per week
Consistent availability on all scheduled days is preferred.
