Welding Supervisor - Bonus Eligible

Additional Compensation: This position is eligible for an additional bonus of $2,000, subject to applicable eligibility requirements and continued employment. Bonus terms and payment schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

The Welding Supervisor combines management skills with an extensive knowledge of welding processes and welding economics to plan, staff, monitor, and safely deliver welding projects according to schedule and budget. They will monitor different factors, including welder to obtain maximum productivity. The Welding Supervisor will be responsible for training new employees on the proper techniques, details of materials, equipment, and fabrication techniques.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage welding team to ensure productivity and safety of the department
• Escalate any problems which effect the production/quality of the welding team
• Meet production schedules on delivery requirements
• Assign work/jobs to personnel
• Supervise welding team to ensure compliance with company instructions, with emphasis on weld processes
• Lead, guide, and direct the efforts of the team with the highest regard to safety
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Adheres to all company and departmental policies and procedures.
• Maintain customer and MASS Quality requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contributes to the department’s team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Tig Welding experience with Tight tolerances
