West-Box Truck Driver -2nd shift

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Drive a box truck to deliver/pick up parts at the outside suppliers or at our NTN dock. Drive a sit down forklift to load/unload truck if the NTN dock driver is unavailable. Fill out necessary documentation and bill of ladings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for 5S
• Complete daily checklists and logs
• Drive fork lift to load and unload box truck if dock driver is unavailable
• Use RF scanner or write out a Manual BOL to log shipment you load from NTN dock(s)
• Write out a Manual BOL if an extra stop(s) is required
• Document issues observed during initial inspection and throughout shift
• Pick up and deliver parts to plants or any outside processes
• Communicate with dock personnel

• Communication during shift change about pertinent information
• Any other duties assigned by Supervisor or Manager

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND ABILITIES:

• 6 months experience in a manufacturing environment
• CDL- Class B required – manual endorsement requested
• Ability to multitask
• Organizational skills
• Excellent verbal & written communications skills
• Good problem solving skills
• High School Diploma
