About the Role:
The WFM Hardware Overlay serves as the subject matter expert for workforce management hardware solutions, guiding customers through the evaluation, selection, pricing, and purchasing of time clock devices and related hardware throughout their implementation journey.
Acting as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders, this role combines expertise in hardware technology, commercial pricing, contracting, and implementation best practices to deliver a seamless purchasing experience aligned with customer business needs.
Partnering closely with Sales, Professional Services, Presales, and Operations, this person ensures customers receive accurate product recommendations, transparent pricing, and expert guidance from initial requirements through order fulfillment.
The role also provides ongoing support for existing customers seeking hardware expansions or replacements, while serving as the primary resource for technical inquiries, pricing guidance, contract support, and issue resolution.
Through strong commercial acumen and customer-focused execution, this role helps accelerate purchasing decisions, improve customer satisfaction, and support successful workforce management deployments.
Responsibilities:
- Consult with customers to assess business and technical requirements and recommend appropriate time clock and hardware solutions.
- Guide customers through hardware evaluations, including badge compatibility assessments and device selection.
- Develop pricing proposals and manage the end-to-end purchasing process, from quote creation through order completion.
- Support existing customers with hardware expansions, upgrades, and add-on purchases throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for hardware pricing, discounting, technical capabilities, commercial policies, invoicing, RMAs, and customer escalations.
- Create and manage Salesforce opportunities to ensure accurate forecasting and sales process visibility.
- Collaborate with Presales Technical Consultants and cross-functional teams to address complex customer requirements and technical questions.
- Deliver a professional, efficient, and customer-centric purchasing experience that aligns with company policies and implementation best practices.
Basic Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of customer-facing experience in sales, operations, implementation, customer success, or a related field.
- Experience with Salesforce, quoting tools, pricing, or customer purchasing processes.
- Comfort learning and using technology, business systems, and digital tools.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast paced environment with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering a professional, customer-focused experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with workforce management, timekeeping, HCM, hardware, SaaS, or enterprise technology solutions.
- Willingness to embrace AI-powered agents and emerging technologies to simplify and streamline the selling process.
- Strong commercial judgment and experience partnering with Sales, Professional Services, Presales, or Operations teams.

The pay range for this position is $90,900 to $130,700. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and work location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus plan and to receive restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
