We are seeking an experienced Windows Expert to join our innovative technology team. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge automation technologies and contribute to our platform's continuous improvement through modern DevOps practices.
Main Responsibilities:
Redesign our patch management procedures using SCCM.
Design and implement automation processes using CI/CD technologies with PowerShell.
Design and implement GPO's and security baselines.
Be the OS specialist with deep knowledge of the platform and the surrounding IT landscape, including Network, Storage, Virtualization, and Active Directory.
Support the team in building new OS images with automation.
Support, advise, and work with cloud migrations from on-premises.
Work closely with our platform owner and scrum team with our engineering backlog.
Create comprehensive documentation for automation processes and procedures for end users, engineers, and architects.
Collaborate effectively within our SAFE SCRUM framework.
Provide advanced troubleshooting and system administration support on the Windows platform.
Drive innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
Key Requirements:
High proficiency in PowerShell and other relevant programming languages.
Extensive experience with configuration management tools, particularly SCCM.
Strong expertise in Windows server platforms (Windows 2019, 2022, and 2025).
Proficiency with software development tools including GIT and JIRA.
Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
Active Directory & Group Policy: Master domain structures, user access control, replication, and policy deployments.
Core Network Services: Configure and manage essential protocols including DNS, DHCP, and IP routing.
Hybrid Cloud Knowledge: Connect on-premises server environments with different cloud vendors such as GCP and Azure.
Disaster Recovery: Design robust backup routines, failover clustering, and business continuity plans.
Nice to Have:
Explore and integrate AI technologies for self-healing platform capabilities.
Any certifications in Windows server platforms, especially Windows 2022 and 2025.
Knowledge of other platforms such as Linux.
Knowledge and ability to code in different languages such as Python.
