Work Experience Trainee–Food Service

Train in a fast-paced, customer-focused food service environment!
As a Food Service Work Experience Trainee, you’ll gain valuable exposure to restaurant operations while learning customer service, food safety, and basic kitchen support skills. This training role provides a strong foundation for future employment opportunities in food service and hospitality.
What You’ll Learn:

Customer service and teamwork in a restaurant or dining environment.
Basic food preparation, packaging orders, and supporting service flow during busy periods.
Maintaining clean and safe food preparation, kitchen, and dining areas following food safety and sanitation standards.
Restocking supplies, organizing workspaces, receiving deliveries, and understanding daily restaurant operations.

Ideal For:Individuals seeking hands-on food service experience and transferable skills in customer service, safety, and teamwork.
Eligibility:Must be pre-qualified for a Goodwill SoCal work experience program.
