Workday Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Workday Business Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in optimizing our HR processes. As a key member of the Zensar Technologies team, you will collaborate closely with HR stakeholders and technical experts to implement and enhance Workday solutions, ensuring a seamless and efficient employee lifecycle management system. Your expertise in HR domain knowledge and Workday HCM modules will be instrumental in driving process improvements and providing strategic direction to our HR technology initiatives.

• Conduct thorough business analysis and requirement gathering sessions with HR stakeholders.
• Document and translate business needs into clear Workday requirements, creating comprehensive BRDs and functional specifications.
• Design and configure Workday HCM business processes, ensuring scalability and alignment with organizational goals.
• Provide domain expertise across various HR processes, including Core HCM, Talent Management, and Performance Management.
• Serve as the primary liaison between HR, IT, and project teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
• Support testing phases, including SIT and UAT, and coordinate defect resolution activities.
• Assist with release management and production deployments, ensuring a smooth rollout of Workday solutions.
• Analyze current HR processes and recommend system-driven improvements, enhancing overall efficiency.
• Stay updated with the latest Workday releases and industry trends, ensuring our organization remains competitive.

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience as a Workday Business Analyst, with a strong HR domain expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Workday HCM modules, including Core HR, Talent Management, and Compensation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of driving process improvements.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
• Experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and vendors.
• Proficiency in Workday configuration and customization, with a solid understanding of HR processes.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with HR technology trends and best practices is an asset.
• Certifications in Workday HCM or related fields are highly desirable.
