Writer and Editor
You will own the blog's editorial standards, write and edit long-form content, and turn complex business and technical updates into clear stories and visualizations. You will interview experts, identify strong stories from data and internal updates, define house style, write leadership keynotes, and manage freelance writers and editors.
Responsibilities
- Own the ElevenLabs blog, including editorial standards, writing, and editing
- Interview domain experts and identify stories from data sets and internal updates
- Translate complex business and technical updates into clear writing and visualizations
- Define house style and maintain a consistent voice
- Write keynotes and remarks for senior leadership
- Manage freelance writers and editors
Requirements
- Background in journalism, editorial, or long-form writing, ideally covering AI, technology, or audio
- Exceptional writing across different formats
- Strong editing skills and ability to reshape others' work while preserving intent
- Understanding of content distribution and target-audience resonance
- Track record of owning and improving editorial output
- Curiosity about AI
