Job Description

- Working Location: West Region
- Working Hours: 8:00 AM–8:00 PM (Rotating roster)
- Salary Package: Basic Salary
- Duration: 6 months contract role
Key Responsibilities
- Perform duties as Confined Space Safety Assessor and Work at Height Assessor for marine construction, repair, and maintenance works.
- Inspect work areas and ensure required safety controls are in place before Permit-to-Work (PTW) approval.
- Ensure confined space testing, safe access, standby personnel, fall protection, communication, and rescue arrangements are in place.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards, unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and required corrective actions.
- Ensure work complies with approved RA, SWP, Method Statements, PTW, and project safety procedures.
- Monitor proper use of PPE, safety equipment, barricades, signage, and access controls.
- Stop or escalate unsafe work where there is an immediate risk to personnel, property, or operations.
- Conduct Toolbox Meetings, Pre-Task Talks, RA briefings, Safety Time-Outs, and other safety training.
- Implement WSH procedures in compliance with Singapore legislation and company, client, and project requirements.
- Advise project teams, workers, and subcontractors on WSH requirements, risk controls, and safe work practices.
- Develop and review Emergency Response and Rescue Plans and participate in emergency drills.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, follow up on corrective actions, and maintain required WSH reports and documentation.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

- Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B) or equivalent, with valid WSH Coordinator Refresher Training where required.
- Certified/competent Confined Space Safety Assessor and Manage Work at Height (MWAH).
- Certified/competent Rigger & Signalman and/or Lifting Supervisor with good lifting safety knowledge.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant WSH or site safety experience.
- Marine, shipyard, offshore, construction, repair, or maintenance experience is advantageous.
- Good knowledge of Singapore WSH laws, Confined Space, Work at Height, RA, and high-risk work controls.
- Hands-on experience with RA, SWP, Method Statements, PTW, Lifting Plans, inspections, and safety briefings.
- Experience in incident investigation, corrective actions, emergency response, safety reporting, and WSH documentation.
- Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work independently with project teams and subcontractors.
