WSHO/Safety Officer (HDB Project/ North or Central Region)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee WSH matters for HDB construction projects.
• Develop and implement Safety Management Systems, SWPs and Risk Assessments.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, toolbox meetings, briefings and training.
• Ensure compliance with WSH regulations and site safety requirements.
• Identify hazards and follow up on corrective actions.
• Investigate workplace incidents, accidents and safety non-compliances.
• Maintain safety reports, statistics and documentation.
• Coordinate emergency response, SERT training and drills.
• Supervise site safety personnel and coordinate with project teams and contractors.
• Liaise with MOM and relevant authorities on WSH matters.
• Promote safety campaigns and a strong safety culture.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in OHS, Engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant construction WSH experience.
• MOM-registered WSHO.
• HDB project experience highly preferred.
• Fire Safety Officer certification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore WSH legislation and construction safety.
• Experienced in inspections, audits, training and incident investigations.
• Strong communication, coordination and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, independent and safety-focused.
