ISCC (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) System GmbH is a globally recognized sustainability certification system that promotes sustainable practices and establishes certified, traceable supply chains from the origin to the final product. Our mission is to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and support the transition to a sustainable bioeconomy. ISCC emphasizes the implementation of social, economic, and environmental criteria to mitigate the severe impacts of climate change. As a certification body, ISCC covers a diverse range of sustainable feedstocks, including agricultural and forestry biomass, biogenic wastes and residues, circular materials, and renewables. Currently, more than 13,000 valid certificates have been issued in over 130 countries, marking ISCC as one of the world’s largest certification systems.
