The Web Developer will own all aspects of web development for company and event websites, ensuring both platforms stay fast, secure, visually engaging, and aligned with brand and marketing goals. You’ll take the lead on implementing new features, refining site performance, and driving continuous improvement across both properties.Responsibilities
- Own the development, maintenance, and optimization of the company and events websites
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and content creators to bring creative concepts to life
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex website issues efficiently
- Implement Figma designs to produce consistently styled and tested front end
- Manage hosting environments, staging, and deployment processes
- Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, and marketing tools as needed
- Ensure SEO-friendly architecture and clean, efficient code
- Stay current with evolving web standards, WordPress updates, and security practices
Role Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in WordPress development
- High proficiency with HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and jQuery
- Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins
- Hands-on experience with WP Engine, cPanel, or similar hosting environments
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Adaptability to changing requirements and priorities
- Strong work ethic and commitment to meeting project deadlines
