3D Animator

Summary

MSToons, a YouTube animation studio producing story-driven Minecraft content, is hiring a 3D Animator to create character and action animations plus camera work in Mine-imator. No Mine-imator experience needed — a paid adaptation period, guides, and support are provided.

We’re MSToons — a YouTube animation studio creating high-volume story-driven content for a multi-million audience. Our team is growing fast, and we’re looking for a 3D Animator who can join our Minecraft project, switch into our pipeline, and produce dynamic, expressive animation at the level our audience expects.

We work in Mine-imator, so this role requires switching to that software.

No previous Mine-imator experience is required — we provide a paid adaptation period, internal guides, and support during onboarding.

What you’ll do
animate characters and action scenes;
work with camera, timing, and scene dynamics;
bring story moments to life in our visual style.

All assets are prepared by our modeling team, so your focus is animation + camera work only.

Requirements
1+ year in 3D animation;
experience with Blender / Maya / Cinema 4D or similar;
solid understanding of timing, spacing, posing, and action animation;
willingness to learn Mine-imator.

Nice to have
Minecraft / voxel-style animation experience;
Mine-imator / Modelbench experience;
rigging skills.

Workload
After the adaptation, we expect the animator to handle 600 seconds of finished animation per month.

We offer
paid test task;
paid adaptation period;
first projects paid as per minute;
fixed salary after successful adaptation;
salary growth based on performance, speed of adaptation, and consistency of animation quality;
growth opportunity into a lead role in the future.
