Job Description
The 3D Artist / Spatial Design Executive (Junior) we are looking for is someone who can take a brief and turn it into convincing 3D visuals and workable spatial designs. You'll own the 3D and spatial side of projects such as event booths, pop-ups, retail and product displays, signage and campaign visuals, from first concept to production-ready files.
This is a 3-month contract, renewable based on your performance and fit with the team. It suits early-career designers with 0–2 years of experience who want more ownership and client exposure.
Responsibilities
3D design and rendering: Independently produce 3D models and client-ready renders of booths, displays, spaces, products and packaging for pitches and presentations.
Concept development: Develop spatial and visual concepts from client briefs, and present your design thinking to the team and, where appropriate, to clients.
Spatial planning: Create layouts, zoning plans and visitor journeys that support each brand's story and goals.
Technical drawings: Prepare accurate technical drawings, dimensions and production-ready files for printer sand fabricators.
Vendor coordination: Liaise with suppliers on materials, finishes, quotes and build feasibility.
Site and installation: Attend site visits, check measurements and help oversee setup so the final build matches the design.
Project management: Manage your own timelines, revisions and file handover across multiple projects running at the same time.
Project support: Keep files, revisions and deadlines organised.
Qualifications & Work Experience
Diploma or degree in Spatial Design, Interior Design, Exhibition Design, Product Design, 3D/Digital Art, Architecture or a related field.
1–2 years in spatial, exhibition, event, retail or interior design. Relevant internships count, and fresh graduates with a strong portfolio are welcome to apply. how completed or realised 3D and spatial projects. Include before-and-after, render-to-build examples if you have them.
Skills
- Strong proficiency in at least one 3D tool, such as SketchUp, Rhino, Blender, Cinema 4D or 3ds Max, plus rendering experience with V-Ray, Enscape, KeyShot or Redshift.
- Working proficiency in AutoCAD for technical drawings, and in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- A working understanding of materials, printing and fabrication processes.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
- High adaptability and willingness to learn and grow .
- Self-driven, detail-oriented and able to handle several projects at once. You communicate clearly and take ownership of your work.
