Your Role:

As a 3D Rendering & Design Specialist, you will create accurate, consistent product imagery and 3D assets that support Ace Displays' ecommerce catalog, product launches, marketing campaigns, and sales activities.

Build accurate 3D models of display hardware using vendor drawings, photos, measurements, and existing model files, ensuring dimensions, proportions, and product details match the physical item.

Apply print graphics to the correct printable areas using artwork templates, and create complete product image sets, including white-background views, neutral-floor lifestyle views, and 3D previews where appropriate.

Maintain consistent camera, lighting, shadows, materials, and reusable scene libraries so product imagery follows one brand standard across the catalog.

Prepare web-ready (glTF/GLB) files with optimized geometry, clean UV mapping, and a separate, clearly named material for the printable graphic area.

Deliver image sets for new product launches by agreed sprint deadlines, coordinating early with Product & Workflow and Product Development specialists to obtain drawings, samples, and measurements.

Update outdated, inconsistent, or missing catalog imagery in the priority order provided, including assets for product changes, bundles, kits, closeout listings, and rental packages.

Create booth layouts, hero images, banners, and campaign graphics for website, email, paid advertising, and social media based on Marketing briefs.

Produce sales assets with quick turnaround, including customer artwork mockups on product renders for proofs and quotes, and booth concepts for larger opportunities.

Export final assets in Shopify- and Salsify-ready formats and sizes, follow Ace's SKU naming conventions, upload files to the appropriate workflow location, and keep source files organized and editable.

Manage work through Asana tasks, keeping specifications, due dates, progress, questions, and delivery status current; clarify unclear requirements before starting to avoid rework.

Communicate proactively about blockers, missing inputs, and workflow improvements while maintaining a positive, accountable, and customer-focused approach.

What You Need: Non-negotiables

At least 3 years of product rendering experience in ecommerce or manufacturing, supported by a portfolio of hard-surface products rendered on white backgrounds and in scenes.

Proficiency in a mainstream 3D modeling and rendering pipeline, with the ability to model accurately from drawings, measurements, and reference images.

Strong Adobe Photoshop skills for compositing, image cleanup, and placing artwork from PDF templates.

Ability to apply print graphics to 3D models at the correct scale and position while respecting print bleed and safe areas.

Strong organization, attention to detail, written communication, and time-management skills; able to manage a written task queue and deliver to deadlines.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in 3D design, industrial design, or a related field; able to perform basic calculations and unit conversions.

Reliable internet connection, a quiet workspace for calls, and a workstation capable of photorealistic rendering.

Preferred skills/expertise

Blender experience is preferred; experience with 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, or KeyShot is also relevant, with willingness to work in Blender.

Experience exporting optimized glTF/GLB models with clean UV maps for web display or product configurators.

Experience with Adobe Illustrator and graphic design for marketing and sales assets, including layout, typography, and brand standards.

Experience with trade show displays, retail fixtures, signage, furniture, or similar products.

Familiarity with Asana, Salsify, Shopify, GSuite, Slack, or Claude.

Written English sufficient to understand specifications and provide concise status updates, and spoken English sufficient for weekly calls.
