The opportunity

We are looking for AI Interns to research, evaluate and support in the development of cutting-edge AI solutions within the card payment industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic knowledge in machine learning, data analysis, and python programming, and will be eager to explore the latest advancements in artificial intelligence. This internship will provide hands-on experience in researching, evaluating, and assisting in the development of innovative AI/LLM models and agent to agent automation.

Day-to-day responsibilities

  • Research and Literature Review:
    • Conduct literature reviews on current advancements in large language models and related NLP technologies.
    • Evaluate state-of-the-art methods and emerging technologies.
  • Data Collection and Preprocessing:
    • Assist in gathering, cleaning, and preprocessing datasets for model training and evaluation.
    • Work with AI teams to identify relevant data sources and ensure data quality.
  • Model Development:
    • Assist in designing and executing experiments to evaluate the performance of existing LLMs.
    • Assist in feature selection, model training, and hyperparameter tuning.
    • Assist in fine tuning of LLM models
    • Assit to implement AI APIs and microservices for seamless integration into enterprise applications.
    • Ensure AI infrastructure aligns with security, compliance, and regulatory requirements (PCI-DSS, GDPR).
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Document research findings, methodologies, and model development processes.
    • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate project status and results to the team.
  • Continuous Learning:
    • Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in AI, LLM and machine learning.
    • Experiment with low-rank adaptation (LoRA), quantization, and distillation to optimize model efficiency.
    • Participate in team meetings, discussions, and brainstorming sessions.

  • Qualifications & Skills:
    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
    • Basic knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) concepts and techniques.
    • Experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
    • Familiarity with data manipulation tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
    • Knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization tools.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
