Pay | \: | HK$42,259 to HK$64,518 (HGPS Point 17 to 26) per month including Monthly Allowance Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance. |
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the followings in the areas of information security, privacy and risk management\:
Conduct detailed system analysis and problem diagnosis; propose, develop and implement IT solutions.
Assist in provision of consultancy based on information technology and industry expertise.
Design and complete system specifications for different components of application systems.
Prepare requirement specifications and cases of testing; maintain system documentations / reports and monitor services provision of IT solutions.
Provide proficient configuration, technical, operational or user support.
Supervise Programmers and resolve technical issues related to application development and testing.
Conduct quality assurance and accept work deliverables from Programmers.
Prepare user guide and conduct user training.
Provide after office hours system support.
Entry Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or relevant disciplines; or equivalent.
- 4 years’ post qualification Information Technology (IT) related experience.
Preferable Attributes / Exposure
- Proven experience in the following areas\:
Big data analytics and analysis tools (e.g. Python, SQL, Hive) and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
Web application development using Java and Web technologies (e.g. JavaScript, JSP, Servlet, EJB, Java EE, ReactJS, Adobe Flex/AIR)
Mobile application development on iOS and/or Android using Native and/or React Native
Management and development of Sybase, Oracle, MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL database
- Demonstrated skills in analytical thinking and problem solving.
- Mature, self-motivated and able to work independently.
Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, including fluency in both English and Chinese.
