Analyst Programmer (IT-GETS Solution Development)
Summary
Analyst Programmer at Tradelink Electronic (Kwai Chung, Hong Kong) building browser-based applications for government and corporate solutions: gathering user requirements, system design, coding, testing, and documentation. Stack spans Java/Spring/Hibernate/J2EE backends and JavaScript/React frontends with Oracle/MySQL databases.
Reporting to the System Analyst/Manager, the Analyst Programmer is responsible for the formulation of user requirements, system design and development work for computer system related to browser based applications for Government and corporate solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with customers and/ or internal users to formulate user specification and functional specification for system designs.
System implementation according to the system design.
Work with other team members to carry out effective programming and testing.
Produce test plan including test scripts and test cases.
Produce specifications and user documentation on software applications being developed.
Job Specification:
Degree/Diploma in Information Technology/Computer Science or similar credential.
More than 2 years working experience in application development, either on frontend development or backend development.
Experience for backend development using Java, Spring, Hibernate, XML, Oracle / MySQL and J2EE.
Experience for frontend development using Javascript, React, jQuery, CSS, HTML.
Experience in Microservice development (RESTful API, Docker, API gateway, CI/CD) is an advantage.
Familiar with Unix/Linux.
Good communication skill in liaising with various levels of users.
Self-motivated and able to work as a team to deliver project under tight schedule.
Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese
Candidates with less experience will be considered as Programmer.
