Pay\:

HK$42,259 – HK$64,518 (HGPS Point 17 - 26) per month including Monthly Allowance

Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities\:

We are seeking a technically proficient and user-focused Analyst Programmer to strengthen our IT Operations and Support team. This role is critical in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our core IT platforms that our hospital staff rely on every day. You will be the key link between resolving user issues and engineering automated solutions to improve user experience.

1. Platform Support & Operations\: Provide advanced technical support and administration for our core IT platforms and systems.

2. User-Centric Support\: Act as a senior escalation point for the team to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring a positive and efficient support experience for end-users.

3. Automation & Scripting\: Develop scripts and tools to automate routine operational tasks, user account management, system monitoring, and deployment processes.

4. Supervision & Mentorship\: Provide supervision, guidance, and mentorship to junior support staff, fostering their growth and ensuring adherence to IT service standards and operational best practices.

5. Quality Assurance\: Conduct regular quality assurance reviews of systems and operational procedures to ensure maximum reliability, performance, and adherence to established guidelines.

6. Additional Duties\: Perform any other tasks as assigned by management.

7. After Hours Support\: Provide technical support outside of regular office hours as needed.

Requirements\:

1. Degree in computer science or relevant disciplines; or equivalent.

2. 4 years' post qualification Information Technology (IT) related experience *

* Relevant experience gained in HA may be considered as equivalent to post-qualification experience.

Preferred Attributes / Exposure\:

1. Proven experience in IT operations and support with a strong focus on user service.

2. Strong hands-on experience with scripting and automation in PowerShell or Python.

3. Practical experience supporting windows and cloud platforms.

4. Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, with a methodical approach to problem-solving.

5. Outstanding customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users in both Chinese and English.
