Application Engineer | Machine Vision Solution | Automation
Description
Salary: $4,500 – $6,000 per month
Location: North
Working days: 5 days/week
Working hours: 830am - 530pm
Responsibilities:
Develop, analyze, and maintain various vision applications, including measurement, defect inspection, component presence detection, and more.
Make decisions on the selection, procurement, installation, and maintenance of vision-related components such as PCs, cameras, and lighting based on application requirements.
Configure vision systems, including host PCs, frame grabbers, cameras, illumination, motion control, and interfaces, to achieve optimal system performance.
Possess hands-on experience with vision software libraries/frameworks such as HIK, OpenCV, HALCON, or Cognex VisionPro.
Provide technical support to field service engineers and customers.
Evaluate and establish vision system performance specifications, as well as prepare technical documentation and conduct training.
Explore new vision technologies and implement them in relevant projects.
Requirements:
2–3 years of hands-on experience in electrical installation, preferably in an industrial or automation environment.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent qualification, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in vision applications.
Knowledge of vision and optical inspection systems is preferred.
Experience in programming languages related to vision applications, such as C++, C#, or Python.
Good understanding of TCP/IP, RS-232, and camera interfaces.
Knowledge of deep learning-based vision solutions is an added advantage.
Willingness and ability to travel overseas.
