Assistant IT Manager (Sandakan and KKIP)
Summary
Assistant IT Manager at a beverage manufacturer overseeing IT planning, deployment, and infrastructure across Sandakan and Kota Kinabalu (KKIP) sites. Key Responsibilities
Spearhead the planning, deployment, and management of IT solutions.
Maintain reliable and secure IT infrastructure, including network connectivity, Wi-Fi services, server environments, and cybersecurity controls.
Establish and enforce data protection policies, backup procedures, and compliance with applicable privacy and security regulations.
Lead technology initiatives, system implementations, software enhancements, and infrastructure upgrades.
Manage IT budgets effectively, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and cost-efficient technology investments.
Conduct user training sessions to promote effective system usage and improve troubleshooting capabilities among staff.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT leadership or management roles, preferably within the retail or food & beverage sector.
Strong expertise in network management, cybersecurity practices, and data governance.
Proven ability to coordinate and execute IT projects from planning through successful implementation.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve technical issues promptly.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership capabilities.
