Assistant Professor

Position and Duties include: South Carolina State University, located in Orangeburg, South Carolina, invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the newly established undergraduate Computer Engineering program. The selected candidate will be expected to perform the following functions namely: Develop and teach courses in the Computer Engineering program, develop and conduct lab experiments in Computer Engineering, conduct research and engage in scholarly activities, seek extramural funding, advise students, supervise student projects, publish, attend professional meetings, conduct assessments in accordance with ABET guidelines, engage in continuous improvement and so on. The successful candidate will also be required to engage in service within and outside the university.
