Assistant Professor

Position and Duties include: South Carolina State University invites applications for a full-time tenure track position as Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering in the newly established undergraduate degree program in Electrical Engineering. The selected candidate will be expected to perform the following functions namely: Develop and teach courses in the Electrical Engineering program, develop and conduct lab experiments in Electrical Engineering, conduct research and engage in scholarly activities including, seek extramural funding, advise students, supervise student projects, publish, attend professional meetings, conduct assessments in accordance with ABET guidelines, engage in continuous improvement and so on. The successful candidate will also be required to engage in service within and outside the university.
