Associate BIM MEP
Technical Leadership & Design Delivery
Lead the delivery of 2D & 3D, BIM technical design solutions across all project stages.
Establish and manage the BIM design delivery strategy, programme, and outputs in collaboration with project leadership.
Ensure coordination across multidisciplinary teams to deliver coherent and compliant model
Take responsibility for BIM quality, technical accuracy, and level of detail across all deliverables.
Identify potential coordination risks/issues and guide the team with solutions and mitigation strategies.
Oversee production of technical drawings, models, schedules, and presentation materials.
Lead the preparation of presentations to communicate to other stakeholders
Project & Programme Management
Collaborate with project leadership to define project scope, programme, deliverables, and resource requirements.
Manage delivery across multiple projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Support development of the BIM Execution Plan, including financial forecasting and resource planning.
Ensure compliance with UK standard requirements and building regulations.
Monitor health & safety risks and contribute to risk assessments.
Provide coaching, and technical guidance to junior and senior team members.
Drive a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Encourage open communication and early identification of coordination issues.
Support staff development and training initiatives.
Enhance team capability and maintain high technical competence standards.
Key Competencies / Skills:
Mandatory Skills:
Hands on experience on Revit MEP software and AutoCAD.
Experience of working on a number of sized projects, as the sole CAD/BIM support and as part of a wider CAD/BIM team
Good working knowledge of Revit MEP with ability to use all standard functions within Revit MEP, Parametric Families creation and ability to coach junior staff in its use
Knowledge on industry standards for Mechanical, Electrical and PH services
Good understanding of the role of consultant engineers and how to support this
Clear understanding of industry standards

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or related field.
Minimum 20 years of experience in building services, with at least 5 years in a leading major project delivery.
Professional qualification with the UK Engineering Council.
