YOUR ROLE
As a Manufacturing Process Development Lead, you will drive the development and innovation of advanced manufacturing technologies within a global automotive environment.
You will play a key role in shaping future production processes by introducing automation, Industry 4.0 solutions, and optimized manufacturing concepts, ensuring high quality, efficiency, and scalability from early prototypes through to mass production.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead development and innovation of manufacturing processes, focusing on automation, IIoT, and machine learning technologies
- Define and implement processes for HV/LV production, including automated one-piece flow and test/vision systems
- Drive DFM/DFA to ensure manufacturable and cost-efficient product design
- Plan and manage equipment, technology selection, and procurement
- Coordinate project milestones, prototype builds, and process readiness activities
- Implement process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and reduce manual work
- Develop standardized solutions for SCADA/MES integration, traceability, and performance monitoring
- Collaborate with global teams, suppliers, and partners to drive innovation and standardization
- Build and develop team capabilities in Industry 4.0 technologies
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Industrial, Mechanic, Electronics or Automation Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience (5+ years) within a process engineering environment leading large teams on process. development, validation and industrialization.
- Knowledge of the English language on at least B2 level
- Knowledge of other foreign languages
- Experience in using Microsoft Office applications - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Ability to plan and prioritize your own tasks
- Experience in process development and production
- Analytical, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Experience in the automotive industry would be an advantage
- Category B driving license
