VinFast is hiring an Automotive Software Engineer in Hanoi to develop in-house embedded software for chassis and vehicle dynamics systems on its electric vehicles. Day-to-day work includes C/C++ control algorithm development, SIL/HIL and vehicle-level testing, ECU flashing, and debugging software/communication issues.

Position
Responsibilities:
- Develop in-house software functions for Chassis/Vehicle
Dynamics systems.
- Perform calculation, coding and control algorithm development
based on system and vehicle requirements.
- Develop and validate software functionality through SIL and
HIL testing.
- Prepare and execute vehicle-level (Car Test) and Breakout Box
tests to verify software functions, interfaces and system behavior.
- Develop and maintain ECU software flashing procedures for
development and testing activities.
- Perform IVMC debugging, including analysis of software
behavior, signals, communication and system issues.
- Analyze and troubleshoot software and system interfaces
between ECU and vehicle systems.
- Identify root causes of issues and implement corrective
actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Automotive,
Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronic, Control Engineering, Computer Engineering
or related fields.
- Experience or strong knowledge in
embedded software development and automotive systems.
- Good programming skills in C/C++.
- Understanding of control systems and
basic vehicle dynamics.
- Experience with SIL/HIL, ECU testing,
CAN communication or vehicle testing is a plus.
- Experience in ECU debugging, software
flashing or automotive communication is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving
skills.
- Hands-on mindset and willingness to
work with both software and vehicle testing.
- Good communication and teamwork
skills.
