Embedded Software & Hardware Development

• Experience in aerospace embedded software development.

• Knowledge of real-time systems and embedded system architectures.
• Experience with hardware/software verification activities.

Design Reviews & Supplier Management

• Experience participating in:

• Exposure to:

Key Responsibilities

Design Reviews & Certification Support

• Participate in Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR) and Critical Design Reviews (CDR) to ensure designs meet technical and certification requirements.
• Review and assess supplier certification plans for airborne software and electronic hardware in compliance with:
• DO-178C
• DO-254
• DO-330

Embedded Software & Hardware Assessment

• Evaluate embedded software and electronic hardware designs for:
• Correctness
• Robustness
• Traceability
• Review FPGA, ASIC, and PLD-based designs for compliance and certification readiness.

Verification, Validation & Compliance

• Analyze:
• V&V results
• Test reports
• Certification evidence
to determine compliance status.
• Prepare and review design assurance documentation and compliance reports.
• Ensure alignment with:
• FAA regulations
• EASA regulations
• Airworthiness authority guidelines

Supplier Coordination & Technical Leadership

• Conduct technical and process audits at supplier facilities.
• Lead resolution of:
• Technical issues
• Safety issues
• Compliance issues
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Act as a key technical interface between engineering teams and suppliers.

Engineering Process Improvement

• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and the Software & Electronics (SWEL) domain roadmap.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
