Azure Platform Engineer
Summary
Builds and maintains Azure cloud infrastructure for C&F's Life Science clients: writing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), running CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions, managing networking, identity, security and monitoring, and supporting application/data migrations to Azure in a hybrid setup.

You will be responsible for:
- Designing, building and maintaining Azure infrastructure with a focus on security, scalability and reliability
- Building Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, primarily Terraform
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
- Automating deployment, configuration and operational processes across Azure environments
- Supporting application and data migrations to Azure
- Implementing and maintaining Azure platform services, including networking, identity, security, monitoring and governance
- Troubleshooting infrastructure and deployment issues and improving existing platform solutions
- Working with development and data teams to ensure effective integration with the Azure platform
- Taking ownership of small to medium-sized technical initiatives and working directly with clients and technical stakeholders
What you will need:
- 4+ years of commercial experience in Azure / Cloud
- Good hands-on knowledge of Azure as a cloud platform
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform; ARM or Bicep is also welcome
- Experience with Azure networking, identity, security and monitoring
- Experience with application and/or data migrations to Azure
- Understanding of cloud security, governance and best practices
- Experience working with international clients or distributed teams
- Experience in Data & Analytics environments and knowledge of services such as Databricks, Data Lake, Azure Data Factory or Azure SQL
- Proactive approach, ownership mindset and strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Very good knowledge of English
