About the Role
Talview is looking for a hands-on Backend Developer to join our Implementation team. You will build, customise, deploy and maintain backend services for enterprise customers, working closely with Engineering, Product, Customer Success and DevOps.
This is a development-focused role involving backend coding, API integrations, troubleshooting and service ownership—not a non-technical implementation or support position.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services and microservices.
- Implement and customise solutions based on customer requirements.
- Build and integrate REST APIs with internal and external systems.
- Work with SQL databases to support reliable application functionality.
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve performance, reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with Frontend, QA, Product, Customer Success and DevOps teams.
- Contribute to testing, deployment and continuous improvements.
Required Skills
- 3–5 years of hands-on backend development experience, preferably using Node.js/python/golang
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design principles and clean coding.
- Experience developing REST APIs and working with microservices.
- Good knowledge of SQL databases; PostgreSQL preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Understanding of testing practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.
Good to Have
- Redis, message queues or distributed systems.
- GraphQL, Docker, Kubernetes or monitoring tools.
- Experience in SaaS, customer integrations or implementation-driven development.
