Backend Developer

Job description

Directful is looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our growing engineering team. You will play a key role in building and scaling services that power our AI-native hospitality platform.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and run backend services in Kubernetes.
• Work with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and deployments.
• Build and maintain .NET APIs that integrate with our platform.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of services.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers and product teams to deliver features end-to-end.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong backend development experience with .NET / C#.
• Hands‑on experience running services in Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps pipelines, builds, and deployments.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of microservices, cloud infrastructure, and service‑oriented architecture.
• Excellent problem‑solving and debugging skills.
• Based in Latin America, with the ability to work in US EST/PST timezones.
• Must speak fluent English.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Azure cloud services beyond DevOps.
• Familiarity with AI/ML integrations or high‑traffic SaaS platforms.
