Backend Developer - Golang
Summary
Builds and maintains scalable backend services in Go, designs APIs, and mentors junior engineers on-site in Indonesia.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance software applications.
- Lead the technical design and implementation of new features and projects.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Ensure the use of best practices in software development, including coding standards, testing, and documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers to foster their professional growth.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and incorporate them into your work when appropriate.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Backend Developer (preferably using Golang).
- Strong proficiency in Golang, with experience in building RESTful APIs or microservices.
- Experience with database systems (PostgreSQL/MySQL/NoSQL).
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments.
- Knowledge of Git-based CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of software architecture, system design, and performance optimization.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work on‑site in a collaborative environment.
